Anglars is the village in the heart of Cahors, where the renowned Lord of Anglas controlled vineyards in the 13th Century.

The Vineyards once went to divided to “fiefs” for the Lord’ Valss.

Times have changed, the regal Malbec vines “the Cot” continue to grow on the
same silty clay terraces along the Lot River.

Best enjoyed at 56 º to 60º F with grilled meats and rich cheeses.
Dark ruby colour.  Fruity aromas of blackberries Fine tannins and finishes note of Mocha.
