It produces a typical expressive dry Riesling, even as a young wine. This Riesling, with it’s clear, pale lemon color, has an elegant bouquet of flowers and citrus fruit and the palate is well balanced and subtle, supported by fine acidity. This Riesling pairs well with seafood, fish, white meats and young cheeses.

History
Domaine Joseph Scharsch owns 12 hectares / 35 plots of vineyard in Wolxheim, in the heart of “Vineyards of the Golden Crown”, 20 km southwest of Strasbourg, now run by the 8th generation. The Domaine’s pure and balanced style comes from the strong terroir mentality of the Scharsch family combined with organic farming, allowing each vintage and parcel to develop its own identity.
