Dalla Valle Vineyards is a Napa Valley producer located on a sunny hillside terrace of fractured volcanic rock in Oakville, 400ft(120m) above the Silverado Trail. It is particularly known for its flagship Maya cuvée, which is one of the most prestigious of all Californian wines – the 2002 vintage received a perfect 100-point rating from Robert Parker in 2012. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet France and is aged for around 22 months in mostly new French oak barrels. Fewer than 500 cases are made each year.

The winery makes two other wines. Dalla Valle Cabernet Sauvignon features a smaller proportion of Cabernet Franc and a maximum of 60 percent new oak. The newest addition to the lineup is Collina Dalla Valle, made from the same varieties – it is made from the estate’s younger vines.
