At Chaix Wines we handcraft a Cabernet Sauvignon with grapes sourced exclusively from
our historic estate.
We let the fruit inform
and guide the winemaking process, capturing the flavors
and characteristics for which Rutherford is internationally
famous. This has been our winemaking program since our
first vintage in 2008.
Compelling aromas of dark fruit, dry earth, cocoa, leather, and dried herbs combine to create a ruby-colored wine overflowing with flavors of ripe plums, cassis, and black cherry. Finish is long and mineral-driven with fine-grained, silky tannins.

The History
Our story in the Napa Valley began more than 110 years
ago. Our goal as growers has remained consistent over the
century – let our fruit reflect the essential elements of the
land and the qualities of the growing season. As vintners
our philosophy is much the same.
