The History
Since its foundation in the mid ‘90s, Terra Andina has been focusing on producing a line of premium Chilean wines based on the amazing diversity and rich terroirs of the Chilean wine country. After a change in ownership in 2001, Terra Andina now belongs to the one of Chile’s leading wine groups of wineries together with Santa Rita and Carmen Vineyards. With their support, we now operate from an independent winery and have our own skilled and innovative winemaker, who has dedicated himself to making wines of distinct character, which we can proudly show today. Since end of 2003 we have changed our packaging, using better bottles and a new and stylish label, specially designed to satisfy requirements of competitive markets around the world
The Brand
TERRA ANDINA is a concept of a New World Wine that comes from the “Land of the Andes”. The Andes Mountains are an impressive part of the landscape and give Chile great diversity and richness of terroirs, known for centuries for their potencial to grow vines. Today, with fresh knowledge in winemaking and increased technology Terra Andina seeks to produce wines from selected terroirs that can express the true flavours and aromas of each variety, thereby creating a unique wine that will give the consumer great value and satisfaction. Our philosophy is to blend grapes from different valleys so that we have cross-regional blends for a specific varieties. This allows Terra Andina to be more flexible and achieve fruit driven, clean wines, but always very respectful of character of each varietal. An interesting concept, a premium wine and a competitive price make Terra Andina a valuable choice for the consumer
Tasting Notes
A blend of Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere. Suyai Red Wine is extremely rich, with a stunning bouquet and delicious notes of raspberry, blueberry, blackberries and currant fruit enlivened by a strong mineral streak with a long, dark and juicy, yet vivid and racy finish
